If you don't know the backbone of the show then read my past review of season 3 for a better in depth analysis of it. In a nutshell, Scrubs follows four friends working as doctors in a hospital as they navigate the ups and downs of love, friendship, and life overall. Season 4 continues in tradition and delivers the goods as we've come to expect. This season is really focused on the love relationships of our characters, and it has so much room to work with since the characters have already been firmly established. Heather Graham is the main guest star of this season and actually spends a few episodes with the show and creates a pretty great character, it wasn't like last season where we had some big stars stay for only 1 or 2 episodes.

Another part of the season I liked was that they spent lots of time fleshing out the Janitor character, and while we will always know him as the Janitor we now know a lot more about him as a human being. Neil Flynn who plays the Janitor actually gave a very touching performance in one episode where we see the true side of him.

I am proud to admit that Scrubs is the only show that makes me laugh and cry, many times in the same episode. Scrubs hold dear to many fans' hearts and is truly a special show. It has top notch writing that practically anybody can relate to, very loveable characters, hilarious moments, and real human emotion. You can imagine how mad I was when Zach Braff announced that the upcoming sixth season that will air in January 2007 may be his last. He apparently wants to do directing full time, even though only a short while back in an interview he said that he would never leave Scrubs and do directing in the off season. Hopefully he will reconsider and give us 2 more years at least, the show has not shown any signs of slowing down and is still fresh entertaining television. In a mess of mostly horrible network shows, Scrubs shines the brightest.
Scrubs is still filmed in 4:3 and that is how it is presented. The picture quality is excellent though, on par with last season and much improved over the first 2 seasons.

The 5.1 Dolby Digital mix is excellent too. The dialogue is concentrated to the center channel, and the ambient noise of the hospital designated to the surround speakers. The music in 5.1 is great too, and since the music in the show is used for emotional enhancement it makes the experience better.

Scrubs is one of a kind, and it is being treated like scum by NBC. For season 5 and the upcoming season 6, NBC pushed Scrubs as a mid-season filler for shows that fail. It's awful that they treat their best show as a last resort. Why ABC doesn't have Scrubs is beyond me, the show is produced and distributed by Buena Vista, so send it to ABC where it belongs and will be treated well. I hope Zach Braff does not leave, it would be a travesty to kill the show now when it is in full gear. Enjoy season 4, it's the most emotional season yet and has some of the series' best moments.

And this is just the first season. This show has just finished its fourth season.. it's THAT popular. Yes, it is a show much more than that. Everyone, no matter what your sexual orientation, can relate to the characters and situations on this show. Here's a review of the characters:

Alice-My absolute favorite character. The most believable and real person on the cast, she's witty, beautiful, and doesn't care what people think. While showing her typical, sarcastic personality, you'll see her struggle with needing stability and just wanting to be loved.

Shane-The one that real lesbians can't get enough of. She's not an emotional chick (although that will change with every season) but she's deep. She doesn't like to be in a relationship and won't even spend the night with a girl.

Dana-The semi-in-the-closet dork. LOVE her! She's a pro tennis player and doesn't want the public to know. She falls for a chef (who, at first, Dana doesn't know is a lesbian or not) and eventually can't hide her love for her from the public anymore.

Bette-The smart one. She's the artsy one who has been in a relationship with her partner, Tina, for YEARS. Even with their problems, they decide to get pregnant although their problems become worse and worse as time goes on.

Tine-Bette's other half. She eventually becomes the victim of her and Bette's problems and starts problems of her own.

Kit-The alcoholic. Kit is Bette's sister and has a problem with drinking. I must admit that her presence in the first season isn't all that important but she will eventually become a bigger character on the show.

Marina-The one with the accent. Marina is extremely beautiful and smart. She owns "The Planet", a little cafe that is the hangout for all of the characters on the show.

Jenny-The crazy one. Jenny starts out in a relationship with a man. And then she meets Marina..

The negative: Didn't convert me into a Korn fan.... in fact bored me to death, struggled to get through a song let alone the album. It isn't bad, just didn't sound convincing in it's delivery, also the drummer couldn't seem to find the groove. A riff would start and you kind of expect a certain beat to kick it up a notch, but he seemed to be missing the mark.

TITTF are: Aaron Scott - Bass, Danny Androutsos - Vocal, Lyrics, Gareth Bradley - Guitar & Tod Robertson - Drums & Percussion, Vocals.

Starting with the track 'P.S', it kicks off with a quirky guitar line, slowly building more into a more solid track with an aggressive finish. This song, to me, seems like the band had more fun and has a dirty but tight vibe to it. Guitar hooks, driving bass lines, manic drums and cool vocal lines, I could picture a biker speeding along a state highway in the middle of the desert to this one.

The mix is pretty sweet, the songs catchy and the musicianship is very good. I will be definitely keeping an eye out for TITTF, check 'em out when they hit your town or visit their website http://www.throwittothefire.com

Wanting to pick some brains, Got my Ibanez RT240 all sorted now, it plays like magic and is just all round beautiful but Im starting to use drop c more and more and gettin sick of down tuning standard strings so im thinkin about hp'ing a second guitar.

I'm a big Ibanez fan but nothing in their current range really jumps at me so keen to look around, just interested to know what people recommend.

I play a bit of breaking benjamin, Violent work of art, slipknot, downing pool, in flames etc and alot of the stuff im looking at now is drop c so want a guitar I can leave in drop c while my current one sits in standard cos i also play a bit of gunners, manson, metallica, system, def leppoard, black sabath, slayer, cradle of filth etc.

Looking around the grand mark pricewise I think for now, can spend more if need be.

Any recommendations? Mostly hard rock metal stuff but would like it to be able to scream a solo pretty cleanly as well.

Lately, I've been getting all these great idea's of songs in my head (and I have a basic mastery of reading/writing music) but I can't exactly put it into song without the proper tools. So I've decided to teach myself to play acoustic guitar,

To me it means another year and new year to try and get things right if they are wrong, to be a friend to someone who may need a friend, to love a little more and give a little more of myself...to me it is a chance to do over and pass things on that have been given to me such as happiness, love and understanding ....If each of us will look at this new year as a new beginning ...the first day of the rest of your life and if we only do one good thing next year ...that is more than some folks do or ever receive....We can reach out to others...we can give folks hope who have none ...I am by no means rich monetarily but I am rich in that I have good friends, those I have met and those I only type to ..and some I have not met but talk to on the phone ...]]> Happy new year to all.

The only thing Id have is louder guitars, but thats just me.
