Whats your pc set up?
I have 2, both running xp, 1 I use for my recording, 400 gig to play with and the other I use for storage/games/mixing post production 1 terabyte quadcore.

just a sony vgn zs220 laptop with 360 external hd, and a 42" vizio lcd monitor. also have an amd64 desktop that i don't use much. basically backup.
nothing fails like prayer  yosoytudios, the name sez it all

I can't see the specs on my recording machine since it fried. It's looking like the liquid cooling may have had a leak and shorted the video card.

After much thought it looks like I'm gonna go with a Macbook Pro and Pro Tools. My drum software should still be compatible.

I have to go for some long term training in May. Having the notebook will allow me to make drum tracks while on the road.
Can't wait to get back to recording. I've got a mountain of projects to knock out.
